Postgrad LIVE Location Spotlight: Where Are We Heading in Autumn 2024?

2024 is flying by, and our autumn events are just around the corner! We’ve spoken plenty on this blog about the benefits of exhibiting at our study fairs, and how you can maximise the number of leads you’ll generate if you do.

But attending a study fair isn’t just a recruitment opportunity – it’s a day away from your desk and a chance to spend a few hours in a different location! We have study fairs coming up this autumn in two great UK cities. Here’s a sneak-peek of the venues we’ll be hosting at and what else you should get up to while you’re there.

#1 The University of Strathclyde, Glasgow

On Tuesday, 15 October, we’ll be hosting our first ever Glasgow event at The University of Strathclyde’s Technology and Innovation Centre, its flagship building and popular conferencing and events venue. We’re really excited to be exhibiting in their state of-the-art facility. Completed less than ten years ago, it contains several spacious foyers and two lecture theatres (one of which can seat up to 450 people).

If you’re travelling down the night before, why not check out the live music scene in the local pubs and bars. Glasgow is a UNESCO City of Music after all!

And if you have time before your train, Glasgow Cathedral, which dates back to the 1100s, is just a few minutes’ walk away from the venue, and is overlooked by a 200-year-old necropolis offering striking views of the city (did someone say selfie?).

#2 Senate House, London

For our London event, we’ll be back at Senate House, part of the University of London and situated in the heart of Bloomsbury. This 1930s art deco landmark has 19 floors and is minutes’ walk from St Pancras – it’s hard to miss! It’s also the location of a number of scenes in the Batman franchise and the latest 007 film.

Senate House’s central location means there are more classic pubs and nearby eateries than we could possibly list here! Although lunch is on us, needless to say, you’ll be spoiled for choice if you find yourself in need of a post-event pick-me-up – no need to settle for a train meal deal. There’s also a great ice cream place just 5 minutes’ walk away so keep fingers crossed for a sunny October!

#3 Everywhere else

Ok, we don’t have a study fair booked in every major world city. That would be quite the challenge! But we can offer the next best thing –the Virtual Global Study Fair that we’re hosting in collaboration with Keystone Education Group on Thursday 3 and Friday 4 October.

The event will be live for 24 hours, helping you reach audiences in multiple time zones across the world. It will also be open to students interested in both undergraduate and postgraduate study, helping you widen your recruitment net and encouraging the idea of postgraduate education at this early stage.

We hope to see you (virtually or in person!) later this year. You can head over to our events page to book your spot for any of our autumn 2024 or winter 2025 events! To hear from previous exhibitors about their experience at Postgrad LIVE, check out our testimonials page.
